What's an EAP
An EAP specializes in the human side of business, utilizes clinical and organizational expertise to enhance an organization’s employee productivity, performance, conduct, and minimize behavioral risk.
GOT THE BLUES?

Everyone feels sad from time to time as we deal with life's large and small losses. But if that loss lasts more than a month, it may be more than sadness.

Signs of depression include disinterest in life, fatigue, excessive anxiety, worry, or fear, changes in eating or sleeping patterns, and difficulty coping.

The good news is that depression is treatable. Minor depression can be helped by getting more exercise, eating right and planning more fun & pleasant activities.

In some cases medication and/or counseling are needed. TRIAD EAP offers free, confidential counseling for you or your loved ones.

We all experience personal problems that profoundly impact us and our families. Divorce, the death of a loved one, parenting dilemmas, and attempts to overcome an addiction are just a few of the issues that can bring us to our knees. These problems follow us to work and effect how we perform our job and get along with coworkers.

  • Stress costs employers about $200 billion a year in absenteeism, decreased productivity, health care and other costs.
  • A 1999 Gallup poll reported that 22% of clerical & sales employees admit to being so angered by a co-worker that he or she felt like hitting the other person.
  • 40% of U.S. workers view their jobs as the main cause of stress in their lives.

TRIAD EAP helps your employees cope with work stress and the many personal problems that can overwhelm even the most capable and responsible employee. The U.S. Department of Labor estimates that for every dollar invested in an EAP, employers can save anywhere from $5 to $16 by helping reduce absenteeism, turnover, and increasing productivity – not to mention increasing peace, joy, and improved relationships.
