EMPLOYERS WITH EAPs ARE BETTER PREPARED TO DEAL WITH TRAGEDIES AND CRISES
The September 11 attacks, the Oklahoma City bombing, and the Columbine school shootings were unpredictable and unimaginable tragedies.
Jeffrey R. Caponigro, author of The Crisis Counselor states: "Many companies don't have a plan in place when a crisis strikes. They feel like it won't happen to them. They get so busy and caught up in meeting the day-to-day needs of their customers that they simply don't take the time to do the planning that's necessary."
There are so many things to do once a crisis happens that the only way you can possibly manage it effectively is by being prepared. An EAP helps prepare for tragedies and being prepared saves time, productivity and money.
